Zero Trust is a transformative cybersecurity philosophy that fundamentally shifts the traditional model of “Trust but verify” to “Never trust, always verify.” This approach prioritizes continuous validation of users, devices, and systems, ensuring that only authorized entities can access sensitive information and resources. To uphold the core principles of Zero Trust, a comprehensive set of technologies and protocols must be implemented to guarantee robust data protection and persistent monitoring of access control, whether in Cloud or On-premises environments.

Last week, Leonardo Spa – one of CanaryBit’s collaborators and shareholders – announced the acquisition of the Stockholm-based Axiomatics AB following earlier strategic initiatives with Arbit CDS (Denmark) and SSH Communications (Finland). Together we are strengthening Leonardo’s cyber solutions portfolio building a “Made in Europe” Zero-trust ecosystem with the Nordics most-advanced technologies in the area of cloud, cybersecurity and data protection.

CanaryBit contributes through its Confidential Cloud and Confidential AI solutions, which harness advanced technologies such as Confidential Computing, Federated Learning, and other Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) for infrastructure and AI security. These solutions are designed to protect sensitive data across sectors deemed critical, such as defense, energy, and government. By embedding security at the infrastructure level, CanaryBit ensures compliance with both national legislation and international frameworks, safeguarding digital assets while promoting digital sovereignty and ethical AI.

Together, this network of European cybersecurity leaders is laying the foundation for a secure, transparent, and interoperable digital future, where trust is earned through verification, and privacy is built into the architecture by default.
